Mayday Emergency Information Technology Host

Many recent disaster situations have shown disrupted technical infrastructures were a real handicap for its victims.

The MEITH project provides a solution under such conditions.

MEITH is an emergency portable computer as replacement for your desktop computer. It will last several days on its battery, while having access to a wide range of applications at your disposal when you really have a need for them. Extreme conditions demand extreme tools.

It can be made waterproof with cover plates within a minute. It will even continue to work in waterproof configuration.

This provides MIGHT against the challenges you will have to face. Hence the acronym chosen for this project: MEITH as it has the same pronunciation.

Within the MEITH project we implement a solution based on low cost open-source Software.
